StickerWala is a free, ad-supported Android app that provides WhatsApp sticker packs. We built it to be simple and private: there are no accounts, and we never ask for your name, phone number, email, contacts, or chats. This policy explains the limited data involved and how ads work.

Information we collect

  • No personal account. You don't sign up or log in, so we don't collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, photos, or your WhatsApp messages.
  • App & device data. Like most apps, we and our providers may process basic technical data — app version, device type, operating system, language, and general region — to keep the app working and secure.
  • Usage events. We log lightweight, non-identifying events (for example, "app opened" or "pack added") to understand which packs are popular and improve the app. These are not tied to your identity.
  • Notifications (optional). If you allow notifications, your device is issued an anonymous push token so we can send you new-pack alerts. You can turn this off any time in your device settings.

Advertising

StickerWala is free because it shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google and its partners may collect and use certain data from your device, such as your advertising identifier, IP address, and ad-interaction data, in accordance with Google's own policies. This may be used to show more relevant ads.

How we use data

  • To deliver sticker packs and keep the app running reliably.
  • To understand which content is popular and improve future packs.
  • To send optional new-pack notifications (only if you allow them).
  • To show ads that keep the app free.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We share limited data only with service providers that help run the app:

  • Google AdMob — to display ads.
  • Vercel — app hosting and delivery.
  • Neon — database for pack content and anonymous events.
  • Cloudflare R2 — storage and delivery of sticker images.

Children

StickerWala is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Data retention & security

We keep anonymous usage data only as long as needed to operate and improve the app, and we use reasonable technical measures to protect the data we process. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard it.

Your choices

  • Turn off notifications in your device settings at any time.
  • Reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in Android settings.
  • Uninstall the app to stop all further data processing by StickerWala.

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We'll revise the "last updated" date above, and significant changes will be reflected here.
